#1 DIY: Floral Crown Headband

Ages and ages ago I made my very own diy floral crown headband after not wanting for fork out £25/£30 for one. The floral crowns are one of the easiest diy's you could ever do.

All you need is:
A plain headband
Foam roses with wire stems (Usually come in packs of 6)

You can usually get all these sorts of thing off eBay, Amazon and craft shops. I got my headbands (came in a set of 2) and my foam roses off eBay for approx. total of £5, saving myself around £20/£25 had I bought one originally.

Start off with placing your first rose just off the centre of the headband (if you're using 6 flowers) and wrap the wire around. Continue doing this from the centre outwards with your other roses, but make sure you overlap and underlap the wire so that they are secure and you can be sure they won't come lose or fall off.

 And Voila!

Easy Peasy!

I also made another one with a different colour and different type of flower, also off eBay. These ones however were not foam and didn't have wired stems but we're still as easy to make as all you need to do is glue them directly onto the headband.

It would be great to see your DIY's if you decided to give it a go!
