OOTD: 2 in a row!

Dress- Topshop
Necklace- Dorothy Perkins
Aztec Fringed Bag- River Island
Heeled Chelsea Boots- F&F @ Tesco

Hey guys, quick post just showing you what I wore out this morning/afternoon having a little look around the shops with my mum. I decided I'd take my new bag out for a spin. It's so spacious! I also wore boots... how stupid was I, my feet felt like they were melting in the heat. It's been one of those funny weather days today where it's warm but it feels/looks like it's going to rain and then the sun comes out and your back to square one.
Anyway, keeping it short as I've got to get some stuff ready for tonight as I'm off out for some cocktails in town with one of my lovely best friends Bethan (I'm currently getting my grove on whilst I'm going through some outfit choices ;)). So, that will be lots of fun and I'll probably have another outfit post to show you guys tomorrow too.

Have you guys got any plans?

OOTD: A leopard can't change it's spots

Dress- Topshop
Necklace- Primark
Belt (Not clearly visible)- Primark
Flatforms/ Wedges- H&M

First off sorry about the quality of the first picture, I don't know why it's so blurry when the rest aren't but it was the best out of the bunch. I was going to take the photo's outdoors but as soon as I got the camera ready it stated to hammer down with rain. But on to the outfit, I wasn't quite sure about this dress at first but it's definitely growing on me, I didn't know whether the colour would suit me as I've got nothing this colour in my wardrobe and I'm so pale. It's quite a stand out piece in all fairness and I really love the cut out detail on the back. I paired it with simple black wedges to match the black outlining the spots on the dress as well as a black and gold necklace (that I love) which I think compliments the dress quite well. In all honesty, I only put the wedges on for the photos as I've been in my slippers all day haha. I've been trying to get a lot done in the house, so I wanted to keep comfy.
Anyway, I hope you've all had a lovely day and enjoy the rest of the night.

#10 New In: Holiday/Sale Haul: Part 2: Shoes & Accessories: Dorothy Perkins, Primark, Topshop, River Island & Select

Dorothy Perkins:

I love this necklace. It's a real statement piece! I think the black rope contrast really well with the gold chains. It was half price in the sale and I got student discount too! It's probably one of my favourite pieces I've bought.

Also half price in their sale and I got student discount too. I loved the turquoise bluey/green against the silver and it'll be a nice addition to my holiday outfits.

River Island:
£5
There are 5 ear cuffs in this pack, so really each ear cuff was £1, which I think is really good. There's a nice mix of coloured metals in there with the added different design, gem and a charm on each. I love ear cuffs...

Topshop:

...So I got some moreeee! Only this time in Topshop. There is a whole variety on here so I can definitely mix and match them!

 Primark:
£3
I bought ones really similar to these from ASOS the other day and I love how you can wear as many as you like, stack them and mix and match them. These were only £3 so I wanted to add them to my collection.

 £4
I love, love, love this necklace. It's got a tribal edge to it with the colours and design. I love the red and turquoise and think it would look brilliant against a plain canvas like a black top. Really cheap for a statement necklace too!

Again... quite ethnic and boho is this necklace. I can't remember how much it cost but it was hardly anything. I love the turquoise colour in it (Can you tell there's a theme!). I think this would look nice with a floaty, summery dress.

£3 each
How cute are these... they match! I love these, they look quite ethnic with the silver, red and turquoise. I wore the cuff on a night out the other day and I love it. I think the earrings will look great too as I've got short hair.

 £6
Love these. I've always wanted to try the heel-less wedges but never got round to it, so when I spotted them in primark at less than half price, I definitely wanted to give them a go. They're a lovely colour, perfect coral for summer and would look really pretty with a nice floaty dress.

£12, £6
I picked these up as I didn't have any sandals or shoes that I could wear on a holiday. They were half price (I didn't want to buy full price as I didn't think I'd get my wear out of sandals really) and they don't have that in between your toes thingy that I HATE! The nude/tan colour is the perfect colour for me as I can put them with any colour and not have to worry that they don't match.

£12 or £10 (Can't remember) £6
Same here as with the last. No in between the toes thingy, black in colour to match with outfits easy and half price. Really simple to wear and I really liked the design in studs.

 Select:

I picked these up before I'd bought sandals as I wasn't too sure what I wanted, they were on sale like the others and are sooo simple and easy to wear because of the plain nude colour. I loved the rose gold spikes on the back too for the added edge.

I hope you've liked seeing what I've bought recently.
Have you got any holiday's planned or bought anything specifically for going away?

#9 New In: Holiday/Sale Haul Part 1: Clothes: Primark, Topshop, River Island, Dorothy Perkins & H&M

I've bought quite a few bits over the last 2 or 3 weeks ready for summer and my little holiday abroad (Don't know if you've noticed already but I cannot wait!!!), so I've added them all together and then split them into two parts. The first (This one) will include all of the clothing items I've bought, whilst the second part will be full of the shoes and accessories I've bought. A lot of what I bought was mainly on sale, so I saved quite a bit of money. Hope you enjoy!

Dorothy Perkins:
£45,  £21.25 (With Student Discount)
I've been wanting this blazer/ jacket for ages, but I didn't really know whether to get it or not due to it's £45 price tag and the fact that for that amount of money I wasn't sure if I'd get my wear out of it. However, I popped into the store a few days ago and there it was, only two available, one in a size 16 and one in a size 8, reduced to £25 in the sale. I had to have it! I got 15% student discount off it too, which is always a plus so I'm really glad I picked is up. It's not really a blazer for holidays as it would be too warm, but I thought I'd add it in on the basis that I've not got anything else to put in another post with it.

H&M:
£21.99,  £7
I found this cute little skirt by itself on the end of a rack in h&m and picked it up straight away. I loved the little cut-out aztec design on it and the fringing and it was really cheap. I thought it would be a nice addition to my holiday wardrobe.

 Topshop:
(Not sure of the before sale price) £18
I wasn't too sure about this when I saw it first because it's not really a colour I've ever worn before, it kinda scares me a bit, however, I saw another blogger wearing it and it looked lovely on her so I picked it to try. I love the cut-outs in the back of the dress, and it's nice and bright for summer.

£8, £5
I'm starting to get a little obsessed with crop tops to be honest and this was cheap so I picked it up. They're comfy and easy to wear and are perfect for just throwing on when on holidays.

(Not sure of the before sale price) £7.20
I'd noticed this crop top a while back and really fancied it so when I saw it on sale, I picked it up. I love the black and white monochrome and the shape of it as well as the mesh sleeves and panelling.

(Not sure of the before sale price), £9
If only this had said 1993. It's a year before my time unfortunately, but nevertheless, I love tube skirts and I'd seen this one online and wanted to buy it but I had sold out. When I went into store and found it  next to the grey crop top I picked it up happily. I've been really into neons and florescent colours recently, which is not like me at all as I've always hated anything neon but I really liked this. I don't think it's too OTT.

(Not sure of the before sale price), £9
Again, another tube skirt I've had my eye on for ages. I picked up the crop top to match this too but put it back after it not having my size and I didn't really know if it suited me or not. I loved to think I could pull it off as a two-piece but I'm not quite sure. Anyway this skirt cost me £10, and I got student discount off of it too, so that knocked it down to £9. Bargain.

 Primark:
£6
These oversized varsity/ baseball tops seem to be all the rage now and after buying two myself recently, I nipped back in to Primark and found myself this one as well. I love the colour of it and this one is mesh so is really breathable and light. I like it!

£3
Simple plain dark grey crop top. I'll proabably pair this with the shorts that are coming up soon as you scroll down and with a statement necklace or something. It's just really simple and easy to wear....
...like this one too! This was only £2 so I wasn't going to leave it. Again, quick and easy, simple plain black colour. Will go with anything, shorts, short skirts, maxi skirts. Perfect for holidays.

£12
I love, love, love, love, love, love, LOVVEEEE these shorts. How awesome are they! The red ombre fringing detail really caught my eye as soon as I'd walked into Primark the other day. I just had to have them. They're really comfy too. I'd pair these with a simple crop top or vest as the shorts really do the talking themselves. They're quite a statement piece with such a bold colour. I cannot wait to wear them!

£12
I thought these shorts we're really cute. The embellished flowers just made the shorts look really pretty, even with the distressed denim ends. Again, I pair these shorts with a simple plain top as the shorts look  like the main focus point with the embellishment. I just though they were really nice. A great addition to my holiday wardrobe.
£4
I love the colour and aztec print on this bikini top. I couldn't find the bottoms in my size but I'm not too bothered as I have plenty of bikini's for my holiday (almost one for every day!) and I thought I could wear this as a little bralette-type-crop-top anyway. It think it would look great with some shorts and a kimono on top. I love the little cut-out detail on the front too.

River Island:
£20
Playsuits are really easy to wear and look effortless. I love the print and colour on this and it's nice and loose and the material feels quite floaty when on. Perfect with some black or nude sandals, lots of arm jewellery, a big sun hat. I think this would make the perfect outfit for shopping around in the stalls and little markets you find on holidays.

It's been absolutely boiling today and still is. I've been outside in the garden sunbathing and trying to get a bit of a tan before I go away so that I'm not the palest person on holidays! haha. I probably will be though, I'm one of those that is really pale and then goes immediately bright red. Joy!
Hope you've all had a fantastic day soaking up the sun.
