OOTD: So wake me up when it's all over, when I'm wiser and I'm older

Cropped T-shirt- River Island
Necklace- Dorothy Perkins
Skirt- H&M
Sandals- Primark

Hey Guys, quick post today as I have loads to get on with. I wore a simple outfit today whilst having a nose around a few shops with my mum in town. I got a few bits of makeup from Superdrug and a bikini for the River Island sale which I'll show you all in another post soon. Anyway... Love this skirt and necklace but it's a real pain as it keeps twisting and doesn't look as good when it's not straight, other than that I really love the different types of coloured metal in it. Another note to remember: the sandals are gonna take some getting used to, I'm not sure if you can see but I had to wear plasters as it was the first time I wore them out today and they kinda scrapped the backs of my feet. Ouchie.

I'm off now to watch some tv with my sis and then I've got stuff to get on with.
Have a great night!

P.s. The face really didn't feel like having it's photo taken today.

P.p.s. Has anyone seen the pictures of Wills and Kate with little baba. ahhhh! Too cute!

#4 New In: Primark & Miss Selfridge

Helllooooo!
I went SHOPPINGGGGG!

So yesterday me and my mum decided to hop on the train and head out shopping for the day in Cardiff, so I thought I'd show you some of what I got. As the title suggests I only really bought stuff from Primark and Miss Selfridge as I couldn't be bothered to wait most of the time in the queues for the changing rooms and then to pay and most of the things I liked didn't have my size anyway.

Primark Oversived T-shirts- Both £6

In all honesty I wasn't too sure about these when I first picked them up just because they are SO oversized and I'm so small. I got them in a size 6 and they are pretty much like really baggy dresses on me. The varsity trend is big at the moment though and these types of tops are everywhere so I thought I'd give them a go. I quite like oversized clothing for those days where you're not really in the mood for having to think about what to wear and just want something comfy so I know I will definitely wear them.

Primark Black & White Aztec Print Trouser
Primark Navy Tile Print Trouser With Side Stripe
Both £12

I'm really loving printed trousers (like everyone else) at the moment and one of my favourite pieces I've been wearing recently have been my Primark elephant print trousers that I featured in my last ootd post so when I saw these, I knew I had to have them too. They're lovely and soft, as well as cool and airy for those summer  days where it's not really hot enough and you don't really feel like wearing shorts. They are really lightweight and easy to wear and I can't wait to wear them.

Primark Neon Aztec Scarf & Primark Multi Skull Print Scarf- Both £4

I'm always wearing scarves and I loved the colours in both of these so for £4 I couldn't really say no. They are so simple and easy to wear, thin and lightweight and I love the print and design on the both of them.

Primark Multi Colour Print Top-

I don't really know how to describe this top. I don't really think it's an 'aztec' type of print but similar and has lots of different sized triangles with individual prints on it. It has really cute gold buttons all down the back and is nice and lightweight. There were only 4 of these left on the rack and when I went through them none were my size but I got this regardless in a size 16 but it doesn't even look big on. Primark sizing can be really off sometimes! Nevertheless, I really like it anyway.

Miss Selfridge Lace Midi Skirt- £30, £15           Primark Large Clutch Bag With Strap- £8
                                                                       Miss Selfridge Ear Cuffs- £2 & £3

I bought the bag in Primark after trying for ages to find a bag big enough for my purse (it's one of those long rectangular ones that just doesn't fit in any clutch ever) but yet small enough to be a bag you can just pick up and go with it quickly. Well... this is it, it's a nice size to fit in just the essentials such as purse, phone, sunglasses, keys etc and has what I think is kind of a cowboy/western type pattern on.

I love all the floaty, boho type of pieces Miss Selfridge has and this skirt is so lovely on. The picture just does no do it justice. As for the Miss Selfridge ear cuffs... I bought my first ear cuff in Topshop at the begining of last ear and since then I cannot get enough of them. I think these ear cuffs are a great change to the normal long feathered earrings you see people wearing and these really suit my type of hairstyle as one of my ears is always on show. It's nice to be able add a little something to it now and then, especially when they only cost £2-£3!

I also bought a belt in Primark which I forgot to photograph and some pyjamas too!

Hope you've all had a nice day!

OOTD: Mon Chéri

T-Shirt- River Island
Necklace- Primark
Skirt- Topshop
Shoes- Internacionale

I finally got around to taking some picture's! wooo! well I say 'I' but it's all thanks to my brilliant sister really because she toke them for me ;) so thank you Nic!
I got these shoes for £5! I was quite excited to say the least. Pretty simple outfit really consisting of a t-shirt and tube skirt but I love the pop of colour from the necklace against the limited palette. Apologies for the pale legs and arms, my friends are always taking the mick saying I look like Casper the friendly ghosts younger sister, but embrace the pale I think! hahaa.

Hope you're enjoying the lovely weather we have at the moment, the sun is shining bright through my windows, let's hope it stays!

Any plans for the weekend?

#2 Wish List: Dorothy Perkins

I had a bit of a lazy day today and didn't get around to doing some outfit of the day photographing (will try and get some done tomorrow if I have time) as I've been sorting through what I want to wear for one of my best friend's birthday night out on monday (that reminds me I must wrap her presents!) Cannot wait!

On to this post anyway... I love Dorothy Perkins... I think when it comes to fashion, compared with Topshop, Miss Selfridge and Zara, Dorothy Perkins just don't get enough credit! Their clothing, accessories and shoes are always affordable and most definitely student friendly (always a bonus!). Yes, they always have your average tops, jeans, day-to-day sort of stuff but some pieces are really good staple pieces that you will always need in your wardrobe along with some real stand out items too.

Anyway... being a shortie at just 5"0, a petite range is always good to me, so some of these items are only available in petite (Some perks I suppose, haha). Bomber jackets are definitely in at the moment and there are 2 of my favourite picks in the above. One as you can see has the same check print pattern as the jumpsuit but being short and curvy, I'm not sure I could pull that one off. Again 2 tube skirts... becoming an obsession... love these both although I did buy a cobalt blue midi tube skirt from Primark which is exactly the same around 4 weeks ago for a mere £5! What an absolute steal! Statement necklaces, another that's always good in my books.

Anything you like the look of?
