Hey guys, was a little change of plan today as I was going to do an outfit post after going out for a family meal for my mum's birthday, however, we've decided to leave this until monday maybe (though I'll probably have an outfit post before that as we're going out partying tomorrow night too! Wooo!) because of work reasons.
So.. Anyway... I've decided to post a nails post today instead.
I've been really excited to show you guys these as I think they are fantastic! Nails Inc have been brilliant coming up with different types of nail effect polish and I've managed to track down some cheaper alternatives. I'd never heard of the brand Invogue before visiting the Fragrance Direct but as soon as I saw them I really wanted to get my hands on them because I'd not seen ones like this for such a great price. These polishes cost me just 2.50 each (RRP £3.49) from Fragrance Direct website. You can get them HERE and they make a massive saving from the Nails Inc ones that cost around £11 for one bottle.
First off both the texture, colour and after effect is soooo good! I love how bright the red one is and the black one looks fantastic with the effect. It took just one coat of polish to get the colour and effect and for that, I think it is brilliant. I was a bit dubious when painting them as the texture just didn't look like it was applying at first. And then it dried. I sat there for a few good minutes after just feeling them because I couldn't believe how well they'd turned out considering the price. They only thing I would say is to watch out just incase the nails skag your clothes, other than that they are great.
I would completely recommend getting these if they take your fancy!
